The rules

• Change exactly one letter per move — letters never move position.
• Every rung must be a real four-letter word from our word list.
• No word can be used twice in the same ladder.
• Par is the shortest possible climb. Beat it or match it if you can — any legal ladder still counts as a finish.
• Hints, undo and restart are always available and never end your game.

Example: cold → warm in four moves

Each highlighted tile is the single letter that changed on that move.

Controls

Tap a tile in the next rung to pick which letter you're changing, then tap a letter (or type one on a keyboard) and press Climb. Enter submits, Backspace clears the rung.
